The program of undergraduate business studies – Business Economics, based on the current trends in the development of economic science and profession in domestic and international frames, is a response to dynamic changes in the business environment – the need for new competences, knowledge and skills. The program offers students the opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge and skills that are applicable in the business practice of both domestic and foreign companies.
The purpose of undergraduate business studies program – Business economics is to train students for independent work in recognizable professions in the field of economy. The program trains students to perform specific tasks in all business functions – finance, accounting, planning and analysis, trade, sales, marketing, logistics and other functions.
In addition to training students to work in various economies professions, the modern business requests form economists the need for knowledge in other fields such as information technology and information systems, law, mathematics, statistics, foreign language, and sociological sciences. This knowledge makes it easy to master qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis for decision-making needs in order to solve operational and tactical problems and identifies their implications on business operations.
Duration: applied business studies last for four years – eight semesters – 240 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
Award title: Bachelor of applied economics.
