International economics and finance

The program is intended for students who wish to gain analytical knowledge in international economics, finance and banking. The program is based on the experience of renowned universities in the world with a modern multidisciplinary approach, providing basic knowledge in the field of socio-political, scientific and technological and historical development of different regions of the world and particular national economies. The specificity of the program relies on a wide offer of foreign languages. In addition to compulsory English in the first two years of studying, the student can choose one of the six foreign languages offered – German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese during the third and fourth year of studying.

AIMS OF THE STUDY PROGRAM:

  1. acquiring basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of international economics and finance;
  2. Understanding modern trends in the international economy, international finance and international monetary system;
  3. acquainting with the basic economic characteristics of the world regions and particular national economies, underlining their political, historical, geographical and cultural specifics;
  4. understanding the motives, forms and effects of modern economic and monetary integrations in the world.

 

Graduated students are prepared to work in a wide range of organizations involving foreign elements: in private domestic and foreign companies and banks, international economic and financial organizations, state institutions such as ministries and the National Bank of Serbia, diplomatic missions, non-governmental organizations, research and consulting companies and other institutions.

The Faculty provides the possibility of continuing studies at master and doctoral programs in the country and abroad.

The studies last four academic years and have 240 ECTS.
On completion of the studies the academic title of Bachelor in Economics is awarded.
