Title of the study program: The joint study program of PhD studies in economic sciences
The doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Business Studies are realized in cooperation with the Faculty of Geoeconomics (The Faculty of International Economics) of Megatrend University.
Upon successful completion of the study program, the candidates acquire the following subject- specific competencies:
- comprehensive knowledge of special economic disciplines, such as: economic analysis, statistical and econometric methods, sustainable development, international economics, monetary and public finance, marketing, business decision-making and management, and other complementary knowledge;
- ability to use the above-specified knowledge in problem solving by applying scientific methods and procedures;
- ability to use information and communication technologies in the specified narrow areas;
- ability to become theoretically and methodologically qualified in order to pursue and apply contemporary achievements in the profession;
- transfer and application of knowledge from different fields acquired through this program.
PhD academic studies at the Faculty of Business Studies last three years – six semesters.
Volume of studies: 180 ECTS.
Scientific title awarded: PhD in Economic Sciences.
