DIPLOMA AWARDING CEREMONY ON THE FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT IN ZAJECAR

On Faculty of Management in Zaječar on Friday the 1^st of March, 2019. Diplomas for students with finished PhD academic studies and undergraduate academic and vocational studies have been awarded. The diplomas were given by the rector of Megatrend University, prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić, to whom this was the first visit to the Faculty of Management in Zaječar.

In his speech, professor Jevtić, among other things, said:

“Megatrend University, as the oldest and the largest private University in Serbia, which is entering its 4^th decade of working, tends to be even more open for the most talented of young population, by offering polyvalence and contemporaneity of our study programs. I came here so that we together support our young graduating students, to award them with diplomas and to wish them successful carriers. Now they should engage to implement in their professional carrier, everything they learned in the past period of time on this eminent Faculty within the Megatrend University. Further, I have nice information and good discoveries about the Faculty of Management in Zaječar, I support it in my efforts to be be socially very affirmative and useful, not only for the city of Zaječar, but for the whole region itself. We are the family of Megatrend, where the Faculty in Zaječar sticks out in some segments, but that is motivation for all of the others to work in that way, organized and with plans, and to give results”.

The ceremony begun with the students hymn “ Gaudeamus igitur” performed by Predrag Đorđević, student of the fourth year of the Faculty of management, that has been awarded for the best trumpeter in the Guča trumpet festival for 2017.

Graduated students and guest were greeted by the dean of the Faculty, prof. Dr. Dragan Mihajlović.

In the name of the city of Zaječar, the graduates were greeted by the vice president of the city, Mrs. Marina Milic, and in the name of the local area Knjaževac, the vice president Mr Marko Stojanovic, and both highlighted great contribution of this Faculty for keeping the Youngs to stay in this area and contribute to its development.

In the crowded Faculty Theater, besides the graduates, the ceremony was attended also by directors of high schools in Zaječar, representatives of organizations and institutions and friends of this prestigious higher education institution.

Part of diplomas was awarded by prof. dr. Srđan Žikić, vice dean for the first grade studies on the Faculty of Management.

Besides diplomas, graduates of undergraduate studies were awarded with vouchers that allow a 10% discount for master studies on any faculty within Megatrend University.
