MILOŠ ŠOBAJIĆ HONORED

Our professor Miloš Šobajić, internationally recognized painter, has been honored on the occasion of the national holiday Sretenje, with a golden medal for his merit. The decision was made by the president of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, on the 11th of February. The honor has been given to prof. Šobajić from the president, on the ceremony held in the Presidency of Serbia, which occured on the 15th of February.

Miloš Šobajić was born in 1945. in Belgrade, where he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, painting department. From 1972 till 2005 he lived and worked in Paris. In 2005. he comes back to Serbia, only to become the first dean of the newly founded Faculty of Art and Design. He administered the duty till 2014. Today he is professor emeritus of Megatrend University.

Prof. Šobajić had more than eighty independent exhibitions in the most prestigious galleries on the planet. His works are exposed in almost forty museums in the world. Nonetheless, he is author of the book „Paint and hush“ („Slikaj i ćuti).
