OUR ALUMNI GORDAN MATIC ELECTED DIRECTOR OF SERBIA FILM CENTER

By decision of the Serbian Government, Gordan Matic, a cultural scientist, graduated from Megatrend University’s Faculty of Culture and Media (2010) as the new director of the Serbian Film Center. Matic was born in 1971 in Kragujevac. He has directed several theater plays, television and short films. He is the director of the award-winning documentary feature film “Zucko – the story of Radivoj Korac”, as well as ten episodes of the documentary-series “Serbian Medieval Heroes”, aired on RTS.

 

Our graduate student, Dragana Mićalović, has successfully played a number of domestic television series, and her colleague, Dragana Kosjerina, is one of the RTS’s established leaders. The student of FKM Suncica Orasanin works as a journalist on Television of Serbia, while our alumna Milena Bozovic Manic is a prominent name of cultural journalism on Radio Belgrade.

 

Our Professor Zoran Avramovic was recently appointed President of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory by a decision of the Government of Serbia. This committee also includes our doctoral student Nina Mudrinic Milovanovic.

 

Our professor Milivoje Pavlovic has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Yugoslav Drama Theater in Belgrade, as well as the President of the RTS Program Council.
