PROFESSOR SUCCESS BY DR. BUDIMIR STARTED AT FEST

The Serbian-Russian documentary feature film “Star and Death of Count Vronsky – Serbian Gambit” premiered at FEST, the cult international film festival in our capital. It was created on the basis of thirty years of research and according to the books of Dr. Budimir Potočan, professor at the Faculty of Culture and Media.

In the documentary segment of the film speak the most eminent experts – historians, literary historians, musicologists – from Belgrade University, Moscow University “Lomonosov” and others, and among them, as an expert, our professor from the Faculty of Culture and Media of Megatrend University.

The movie Star and Death of Count Vronsky – The Serbian Gambit illuminates, after nearly one hundred and fifty years, the science of the unknown fact about Colonel Nikolai Nikolaevich Rayevsky in the Serbo-Turkish War of 1876 and his heroic death. In addition, scientific evidence is presented on how Colonel Rayevski, as a literary prototype, became Colonel Vronsky in the novel “Ana Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy.

The film is directed by Mikhail Jolkin, screenwriter is Yevgeny Baranov, and the main role is Milos Bikovic.

The premiere of “The Star and the Death of Count Vronsky – Serbian Gambit” at FEST in the Cinema Hall was attended by my distinguished personalities, including His Excellency Alexander Chepurin, Russian Ambassador to Serbia.
