STUDENTS OF THE LAW FACULTY IN PRACTICE IN A MISDEMEANOR COURT IN BELGRADE

On February 25, 2019, our students began a two-week internship at the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade.

The practice is designed so that students have the opportunity to see every kind of work that the Belgrade Misdemeanor Court does.

The students were greeted by the President of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade, Mr. Milan Marinovic, who gave an introductory lecture on the occasion.

The students were then divided into groups, which were forwarded to different parts of the office, or to the scorer.

After the introductory days in the office, students were sent in groups to the judges of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade, where they could see firsthand all the work in the courtroom, from the administrative affairs to the trials themselves.

This was a valuable experience for our students. So far, 22 students have gone through this type of internship, and will be in the months and years ahead.
